Job Description

Strategic & Tactical Focus Areas:
  • Support developing and implement pricing strategies for spare parts to maximize profitability and market competitiveness in both wholesale and retail segments.
  • Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer buying behaviours to inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Utilize data analytics and tools to perform pricing simulations, scenario analysis, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain the pricing system Syncron, ensuring accurate data input, system updates, and troubleshooting of issues.
  • Train and educate team members on the proper use of Syncron for effective pricing management and optimization.
  • Monitor pricing performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in pricing processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Daily, Weekly & Monthly Responsibilities:Pricing Execution and Monitoring
  • Attend to all pricing desk requests within a maximum response time of 10 Mins per order
  • Ensure all pricing related queries are resolved within 24 hours from the time it was raised.
  • Monitor pricing performance and impact on sales and margins.
  • Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies and issues.
Daily Reports
  • Sales Performance Report: Tracks daily sales figures, average selling prices, and revenue.
  • Price Change Impact Report: Evaluates the immediate effect of any price changes on sales volume and revenue.
  • Competitor Price Monitoring: Daily updates on competitor pricing for key products.
Weekly Reports
  • Revenue and Margin Analysis: Breakdown of weekly revenue, gross margins, and profitability by product line.
  • Pricing Variance Report: Analysis of pricing variances and their impact on financial performance.
  • Market Trend Report: Insights into weekly market trends and their potential impact on pricing.
Monthly Reports
  • Comprehensive Pricing Review: Detailed analysis of monthly pricing performance, including trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Price Sensitivity Analysis: Evaluation of how different price points affect sales volume and profitability.
  • Customer Segmentation Report: Analysis of pricing performance across different customer segments.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting Report: Projections of future pricing trends and their impact on financial planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or I.T (masters degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis, strategy development, and implementation within a spare parts or automotive industry context.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel. Experience with Syncron or similar pricing systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in project management and change management related to pricing initiatives is a plus.
