You will be responsible to administer import/ export plans and processes to provide preparation and clearance of documentation through the relevant authorities and guide and advise customers on import/ export operations and regulations in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.Join us in connecting people and improving lives.In this Pricing Specialist position, you will:

• Administer import/ export plans and processes to optimize service and performance.
• Perform transactional operational tasks related to import/ export in adherence to regulations and internal procedures.
• Undertake import/ export entries and support operational activities as per internal procedures and latest local customs regulations.
• Prepare calculations for duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight and volume of merchandise imported/ exported from/ to foreign destinations.
• Draft, distribute and archive all required import/ export documents.
• Check invoices and shipping documents to enhance accordance with federal regulations.
• Verify entries to ensure customer requirements are met and suggest routine corrective actions in case of deviations.
• Ensure export, import, and gateway operations are as per business guidelines and compliant with set expectations.
• Administer IT systems related tasks to provide updated information on shipment.
• Cooperate with internal functions such as customer service, product, sales, etc.
• Connect with overseas office to check and verify shipment information.
• Resolve recurring issues and suggest enhancements for import/ export work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure all enquiries from Customers, Network and Internal stakeholders are acknowledged and answered with the best-in-class rates and solutions within the required KPIs and timelines.
• Possessing high level of data analytical skills to analyze own and department performance metrics, identify trends, patters and synthesize information objectively from the pricing dashboard to reach tangible goals or outcomes that improve the quality of bid submissions.
• Utilizing Continuous Improvement methodologies by deploying structured process reviews, recognizing weaknesses and opportunities in the procurement and pricing process
• Strive towards a zero error, improve on an all-encompassing, comprehensive, standardized Handover process of quotations/files to respective Operations & Customer service team in place for all business awards.
• Maintain excellent contact with Carriers, Subcontractors and other stakeholders in order procure and negotiate the best & cost-effective solutions for all enquiries.
• Manage effective stakeholder communication plans by leading regular and proactive discussions with external and internal stakeholders, serving as the lead liaison between commercial owners and all other parties or SMEs whose input is required to complete the quotation response or win probability.
