The Preventative Maintenance Technician provides thorough preventive, curative and corrective maintenance for the Apartments. You do the technical maintenance in the event of a malfunction, and perform the monthly check of the technical installations of the Apartment. You guarantee the proper technical operation of the Apartment. You ensure compliance with the standards and procedures of the brand.Key tasksOverview of duties
\xc3\x98 In conjunction with the Cluster Director of Engineering, helps ensure the smooth running of the apartment's technical installations
\xc3\x98 Interacts with other Departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities.
\xc3\x98 Service the apartments in case of any breakdowns of equipment's or fixtures in the rooms.Professional techniques / Production
\xc3\x98 To provide a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times, following the Standards of Performance.
\xc3\x98 To have a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work to the standard set.
\xc3\x98 To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub-departments of the engineering Division or any other Department of the hotel as assigned.
\xc3\x98 To perform all duties and tasks when rotated or assigned to another Department as per Master Task List for that Department.
\xc3\x98 Ensures that health, hygiene and safety regulations are complied with and applied in the department in compliance with safety and security standards

\xc3\x98 To ensure that the Place of Work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times

\xc3\x98 Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair. Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a apartment or public areas.
\xc3\x98 Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition.
\xc3\x98 Repairs and maintenance of air conditioning equipment such as FCU'sAHU & Chillers
\xc3\x98 Carries out air conditioning preventive and routine maintenance.
\xc3\x98 Attends to repairs and maintenance of equipment electrical control system.

\xc3\x98 Carrying out a regular inspection and cleaning of all air filters.

\xc3\x98 Continually works with the engineering staff to improve and maintain the highest standard of departmental operation.
\xc3\x98 Specify the spare parts and have good information about the local market to guide the purchasing.Generic Aspects on Hygiene / Personal Safety / Environment/Confidentiality:

• Ensure proper care of all equipment and furniture entrusted for Heartists use.
• Be well-familiar with the hotel's policies and procedures, well-acquainted with the physical layout of the hotel and its premises and knowledgeable of the hotel's emergency procedures in regard to fire, medical, bomb threat, black-out and evacuation.
• Knows the safety regulations and ensures their application & ensures the safety of people and property in the hotel.
• Respects and ensures respect of the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" of Sustainability program (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc).
• Understands and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Heartists Handbook and the Hotel's policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• Ensure that confidential records and other confidential information are properly safeguarded and are not removed from the office.
