JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for all pre-sales activities - this is inclusive of developing bids and integrated solutions, in collaboration with technical PM's & Presales department. Presents to clients proposed solutions and manages clients\' expectations and requirements.KEY RESULTS AREAS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
Manages Presales personnel, monitoring their activities, providing support & guidance when
Participates in sales calls with colleagues when needed
Develops technical design and commercial pricing for the presales team
Suggests discounts, margins, & presentations of the presales team, and provide guidance on the same when needed
Keeps records and organize reporting back the director on all presales activities
Provides strategic feedback & input on presales activities
Organizes the presales team leaves & vacations in coordination with HR department
Participates in recruiting new presales personnel
Monitors & develop presales team performance
Coordinates & provide training for the presales team
Coordinate with other departments on ongoing projects, bids, troubleshooting & any activity that might require his/her input
Be available for traveling, meeting new clients, and site surveying even in harsh
Presales manager has to perform the senior presales duties summarized as follows:
Gets brief from client on required solution(s), gets any available documentation, contacts consultants (if applicable), conducts site visit if possible
Opens new accounts & establishes relationships with clients & supplier
System design based on client's requirements - the design includes setting specification of hardware, software, technical drawings and IT infra-structure for the solution; might need to specify other requirements - that include power, mechanical and electrical requirements for the project
Commercial aspects of each project covering - production of BoQ, recommending optimal software and hardware and pricing of the same, negotiates with the client commercial and pricing terms,
Technical submittal of the solution in the form of technical and commercial bid/proposal
Meeting with clients to clarify project dynamics, timelines, execution, planning,
Briefs PM on all aspects of the project and hands-over all documentation, client contacts and other aspects for commencement of the project
Interacts with the PM and client (as required) to ensure follow up on project execution and delivery
Assists Auto-cad section in preparing final solution drawings
Supports in any required business development with potential or repeat clients
EDUCATION
Bachelors of Engineering (Electronics or CS related) or BA in business; Master's Degree or vendor certifications are considered as advantage assets
