We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Prequipment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate preparation and procurement of equipment and materials required for our projects. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing inventory, and maintaining efficient workflows to support our manufacturing and installation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to identify equipment and material requirements for various projects.
• Prepare and review detailed equipment lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Source and procure necessary equipment and materials, negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring timely reordering of stock to avoid project delays.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Manage and oversee the logistics of equipment and materials, including transportation and storage.
• Collaborate with the finance department to track expenses and ensure budget compliance.
• Implement and maintain efficient workflow processes to streamline equipment preparation and procurement activities.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to equipment and materials promptly.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in equipment and materials to recommend improvements and innovations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Prequipment Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and procurement tools.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the tents and shades industry or related fields.
• Familiarity with various types of technical fabrics and materials used in shade structures.
• Understanding of construction and manufacturing processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
