To support our customer centric growth and brand strategy, we are looking for talented, driven professionals with a passion for customers to join our fast-paced team as a Storekeeper to ensure that the Purchasing Department operates effectively and efficiently and that the department adheres to the Company’s standards and the statutory regulations.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Purchasing Department supports the Accounting department’s operation effectively and efficiently, making sure that the department adheres to the Company’s standards and regulations. Reporting to The Director of Purchasing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Follows the strategic purchasing goals of the hotel.
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
Controls supplier quality with critical score cards and plant audits.
Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
Computer experience in inventory control/purchasing system.
Responsible of the month end inventories.
Maintain direct contact with hotel Executive Chef.
Process daily received invoices and submits to accounting for payment.
Performs other duties that the Purchasing Manager assigns.
Qualifications:
Previous experience is an asset
Experienced in Purchasing , preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications and on line purchasing
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong Negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and independently in a fast paced environment
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
