Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PET Preforms Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team at our plastic manufacturing Company in UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PET preforms production, process optimization, and quality control within the plastics manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight:
• Manage and oversee the production of PET preforms, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
• Process Optimization:
• Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes related to PET preforms production.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize product quality.
• Quality Control:
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of product quality.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and tests to identify deviations and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to ensure proper operation of machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Project Management:
• Lead and participate in projects related to PET preforms production, including new product development and process enhancements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all manufacturing activities.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of PET blow molding machines and associated equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
• Training and Development:
• Train and mentor production staff on best practices for PET preform and blow molding processes, equipment operation, and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of proven experience in PET preforms manufacturing / PET blow molding or plastic molding operations, preferably within the plastics industry.
• Strong knowledge of PET preforms production processes, including injection molding techniques and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Experience with quality management systems (ISO standards) and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Experience with project management and leadership abilities may be a plus.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and manage production schedules effectively.
