Position: Precast Structure Designer

Holism Prefabricated Structural Components Manufacturing LLC specializes in manufacturing high-quality prefabricated structural components. As part of our growth strategy, we are developing innovative three-dimensional precast modules and seeking a skilled designer to lead this initiative.

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Precast Structure Designer to design, develop, and obtain municipal approvals for our precast modules. The ideal candidate will have expertise in precast structural design, connections, and compliance with Ras Al Khaimah Municipality regulations. This position is critical to our effort to secure new structural approvals and expand our operations to include advanced precast solutions for G+3 buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Design three-dimensional precast modules, including structural connections, within specified dimensions (7.2m x 3.6m, height 3.3m).
• Ensure designs meet RAK Municipality standards and regulations.
• Municipal Approvals:
• Prepare detailed structural design documentation for submission to Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.
• Liaise with RAK Municipality officials to address technical queries and secure approvals for new precast structure designs.
• Technical Support:
• Provide structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety, stability, and compliance of all designs.
• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals for new projects.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
• Work closely with the production and project teams to ensure design feasibility and efficient implementation.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders to align design goals with company objectives.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in precast structural design.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS).
• Strong knowledge of precast connections and modular construction principles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle technical discussions with RAK Municipality.
• Certifications: Must be certified or eligible to certify designs with RAK Municipality.

Preferred Qualities:

• Familiarity with the regulatory framework and approval process in Ras Al Khaimah.
• Creative problem-solving and innovative design capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
