We are seeking a highly experienced Pre-Tender MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team for a major construction project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of MEP prices, work requirements, and substantial experience in material takeoff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Planning and Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for MEP systems based on project design and specifications.

• Quantity Takeoff: Perform accurate and comprehensive quantity takeoffs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Tender Documentation: Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation for the tendering process.

• Contractor Evaluation: Assist in evaluating and selecting contractors and suppliers by analyzing submitted tenders against project requirements and budgets.

• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and incorporate them into cost estimates and tender documents.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to ensure all MEP requirements are clearly defined and met.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.

• 15-20 years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on MEP systems.

• Extensive knowledge of MEP prices and work requirements in the UAE market.

• Proven experience in material takeoff and preparation of BOQs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficient in relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Excel).
