Provide mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to ensure the successful execution of PR campaigns and initiatives.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of PR efforts, conduct regular performance evaluations, and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
MEDIA RELATIONS AND REPUTATION MANAGEMENT
Cultivate and maintain relationships with automotive journalists, bloggers, influencers, and key media outlets to secure positive coverage and endorsements.
Proactively pitch stories, respond to media enquiries and manage media interviews and press conferences.
Develop and implement crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage and mitigate PR issues, safeguarding the company\'s reputation and integrity.
CONTENT STRATEGY AND THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
Develop a comprehensive content strategy that addresses key issues, trends, and innovations and positions the company as a thought leader in the automotive industry.
Produce compelling content for PR campaigns, including whitepapers, case studies, executive bylines, opinion pieces, and multimedia assets tailored to region-specific audiences.
Identify opportunities for thought leadership and executive visibility, securing speaking engagements, panel participation, and industry awards for senior executives.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND ADVOCACY
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure alignment and cohesion across all PR and communications initiatives.
Collaborate with industry associations, advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies to shape public policy discussions and advocate for the company\'s interests in the automotive sector.
EVENT MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Drive the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact events, including product launches, press conferences, industry conferences, and experiential activations.
Cultivate strategic partnerships with industry associations, automotive influencers, and key stakeholders to enhance the reach and impact of events and PR initiatives.
Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors and venues, and ensure seamless coordination and execution of events on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor\'s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required; a master\'s degree is preferred.
Fluency in Arabic and English, with exceptional writing and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Minimum of 5+ years\' experience in PR and events management, focusing on the automotive industry. Preferably with an Agency background
Proven track record of strategic leadership in PR, with experience managing high-profile events, driving thought leadership initiatives and leading crisis communication efforts.
Strong understanding of the automotive industry landscape, including market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex issues and crises with grace and professionalism, maintaining the integrity and reputation of the organisation.
