It has around 500 staff members.What we're looking for:We are currently seeking a seasoned PR Account Manager with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach to work across a key group of clients. This role is a linchpin in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment where your expertise in communication strategy, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement will drive regional and global awareness campaigns integral to our clients.To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:Communication Strategy Implementation: Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive communication strategies that support the client's objectives, ensuring alignment with national priorities and global narratives.Crisis Communication: Anticipate and identify potential areas of crisis, developing preemptive strategies and immediate responses. Be on-call to manage any crisis that impacts the client, coordinating messaging, media responses, and follow-up communications.Campaign Management: Oversee the creation and rollout of regional and global awareness campaigns, from conception through to evaluation, ensuring messages are timely, impactful, and resonate with target demographics.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the liaison between the client and various internal and external stakeholders, including government departments, media, partners, and the public. Develop and nurture relationships, facilitating effective communication and mutual understanding.Internal and External Messaging: Craft, curate, and oversee the dissemination of all client communications, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment with broader objectives.Media Relations: Manage all facets of media interaction, train spokespersons, organize press conferences, and prepare talking points, ensuring a consistent and reliable public image.Performance Analysis: Evaluate the outcomes of communication strategies and campaigns, providing insights and reports that inform future tactics. Utilize data-driven approaches to demonstrate ROI and strategic learning.Compliance and Sensitivity: Understand and adhere to government protocols, regulations, and sensibilities, ensuring all communication materials and strategies are compliant with legal and ethical standards.Team Leadership: Guide, motivate, and mentor junior staff within the onsite team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and adaptation.Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of PR account management experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked with public, financial, destination, property and retail sectors.
Demonstrated success in managing complex communication strategies within public, financial, destination, property and retail sectors.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of both regional and international media landscapes.
Proven experience in crisis management communications.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-profile work environment.
