School of Business AdministrationPost date:March 20, 2024The Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainable Development (CEISD), an interdisciplinary research center at the School of Business Administration of American University of Sharjah, is introducing a postdoctoral fellowship, which aims to attract qualified researchers to contribute to advancing knowledge in innovation for sustainable development.About the FellowshipThis fellowship program is designed to offer a unique opportunity for a recent PhD graduate to contribute to interdisciplinary research on innovative sustainability solutions. The selected postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for designing and conducting research, analyzing data and publishing results in high-impact academic journals. The postdoctoral fellow will also be responsible for developing a research agenda in collaboration with faculty fellows from one or more of the following research clusters: * Entrepreneurial Skills, Management and Growth Strategies
Sustainable Food Systems
Environmental Sustainability
Social Entrepreneurship and Community-driven Social Change
The Social Impact of Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Growth
Technology Production, Innovation and Sustainable Development
Responsible Consumption/Production and the Circular Economy in the Fashion and Tourism Industries
Demography, Human Capital and Talent Acquisition
Qualifications and Skills Required
PhD in economics, a business-related discipline, or another area related to the listed research clusters (earned within the last five years)
Fulfillment of all doctoral requirements before the fellowship appointment
Proven ability to conduct high-level research in one or more of the specified clusters
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
