The job opening is for a post-doctoral fellow, as part of the UPAR-AUA proposal. Person specification is as follows: The postdoctoral fellow will work on the study related to breast cancer entitled, NAD kinase a potential therapeutic target in HER2 mediated oncogenesis. We are looking for a bright, motivated, dedicated individual with strong scientific, organizational, and inter-personal skills. He/she will have PhD degree related to the biological sciences discipline. Experience in molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry techniques is essential. Experience with some but not necessarily all of the following techniques: PCR, molecular cloning, viral transduction, gene editing, immunoblotting, cell culture, colony-formation assays, ex vivo and in vivo modeling of cancer, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, fluorescence-activated cell sorting, and next-generation sequencing library preparation. Experience in laboratory management and establishing lab infrastructure will be a distinct advantage and highly preferred. He/she will have a great level of motivation and be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
