Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of Post-Doctoral on a 4-month contract (renewable) to join the research on medical image processing at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). The nominal start date is September 1, 2024. The position is located at the main UAEU campus in Al Ain. The application package must include a cover letter and a detailed CV. According to the objectives of the project, the candidate must have strong knowledge in the field of mathematics, deep learning and parallel programming. The position requires a strong background in the following programming languages and development environments: Python (PyTorch, PyCharm), C++, CUDA, Visual Studio. Usual duties of the position: \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the Principal Investigator in the implementation of the research project. \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage in the wider research and scholarly activities of the research group. \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out administrative and management work associated with the research project under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, reports, abstracts, etc.Minimum QualificationPhDPreferred Qualification
