Position Overview
KU is seeking a highly motivated Post-doctoral Fellow to work on a funded project in the area of universal algebra, combinatorics, discrete mathematics, and their applications. The project will specifically focus on clones, clonoids, minions, and non-associativity and related topics. While the motivations and goals of the project are in the development of the mathematical theory, it bears links to theoretical computer science, especially to the theory of computational complexity of constraint satisfaction problems.
The candidate will develop the mathematical theory of clones, clonoids, minions, and non-associativity, and related topics, or work on their applications, e.g., in theoretical computer science.
