Job DetailsTHREE FACULTY POSITIONS IN MATHEMATICS. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for three full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, with a start date of August 2025. Applicants with strong research profiles in all areas of mathematics will be considered. However, one of these positions is designated for numerical analysis, and candidates applying for this position should demonstrate strong expertise in developing analytical, numerical and/or computational mathematical methods.JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must hold a PhD in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics and have experience in North American-style education. Applicants should demonstrate a strong research background, evidenced by high-quality publications in top-tier journals. Successful candidates will be expected to maintain an active research program, supervise master's and PhD students, secure research grants, and engage in international collaborations.
