Job DetailsThe Department of Mathematics and Statistics at American University of Sharjah (AUS) is accepting applications for a full-time, regular faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing in August 2025. In exceptional cases, an appointment at a higher rank may be considered.Applicants with strong research potential in all areas of data science are encouraged to apply. A PhD in Statistics or Mathematics is required by the start date. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an active research program, supervise graduate students, secure research grants and engage in international collaborations. Evidence of excellence in teaching across all levels of the curriculum and strong communication skills in English are required. Experience in North American-style higher education is highly desirable.A complete application consists of two PDF files.
