JPC - 3489 - Portfolio Manager - Senior Specialist
Location: Abu Dhabi Contract Duration: 1 year extendable. Main role and responsibilities: Ensures the ongoing process/system capability associated with projects and manages any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs, development and QA Own the resource heat map for Product development resources. Defining business management guidelines and standards, with a view to streamlining and improving processes across Finance and Risk technology Role requires an inquisitive nature and ability to probe and ask questions, identify dependencies, and to guide teams into discovering hidden assumptions and actions that are imbedded in processes defined over time but that may no longer be optimal. Overall PMO ownership to develop PMO efficiencies. Coordinates programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of projects and/or programs into a finished state. Develop recommendations for use of existing/new apps and tools in support of PMO objectives. Update, monitor, and communicate all projects on the weekly dashboards. Work on process improvement activities, including but not limited to gaining efficiencies and streamlining activities in alignment to the needs of the organization.
Qualifications and experience: University degree in Computer Science Certification in Project Management skills Experience in defining, rolling out and managing project management and software development tools. Experience in establishing and introducing project management practices for digital organizations. Hands on project and portfolio management experiences with projects of varying sizes and complexities
