Job Description

The Portfolio Management Director - Private Equity will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of large operating assets across multiple sectors within the firm's private equity portfolio. This individual will play a strategic role in driving value creation, operational efficiencies, and financial performance while ensuring alignment with the firm's investment objectives. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Oversight: Lead the active management of a diverse portfolio of operating assets, ensuring strong financial and operational performance across multiple industries. Value Creation: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance value, drive growth, and optimize profitability across portfolio companies. Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, KPI tracking, and benchmarking to assess portfolio performance, identifying risks and opportunities. Operational Excellence: Partner with portfolio company leadership teams to improve operational efficiencies, streamline processes, and drive sustainable improvements. Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and governance requirements, implementing best practices in corporate oversight and risk management. Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison between portfolio companies, senior leadership, investment teams, and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and strategic insights. Exit Strategy & Liquidity Planning: Support the development and execution of exit strategies, including IPOs, secondary sales, or strategic divestitures, to maximize investor returns. M&A & Growth Strategies: Evaluate and support bolt-on acquisitions, restructuring initiatives, and capital deployment strategies to drive inorganic growth within the portfolio. Key Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred. Experience: 12+ years of experience in private equity, investment management, corporate finance, or strategy consulting. Proven track record of managing and optimizing large-scale operating assets across multiple industries. Experience in working with senior leadership teams, board members, and institutional investors. Strong background in financial modeling, due diligence, and investment performance analysis. Leadership & Strategic Acumen: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive transformation within portfolio companies. Sector Expertise: Experience across multiple industries such as infrastructure, energy, healthcare, industrials, technology, or consumer goods is highly desirable. Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regional and international regulatory frameworks governing private equity and investment management. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to assess complex business challenges, develop actionable strategies, and implement impactful solutions. Seniority Level
