Job Code: JPC - 3343 Job Title: Porter Duration: 20 June-26th July Location: Abu Dhabi Experience: 1-2 Years Language: Arabic, English Education: High School General Summary Duties and Responsibilities Moving furniture, boxes, paper and equipment around the school and delivering post, parcels, furniture and ad hoc items across campuses. (arranging furniture within the classrooms, courtyard/sports hall/exam hall during special events.) To offer the service in a polite and friendly manner, ensuring high standards of customer service and professionalism throughout the School. Supporting SLT during parent teachers' meetings. Support to Academic staff in lamination of posters, binding booklets, photocopying study materials etc. Class room tagging (teachers name, class no. subject etc.) Safekeeping of Lost and found items at the stores. Distribution of water bottles (4 gallon) on the water dispensers at the designated areas of male, female & elementary campuses and refill the water dispensers when empty. Setting up the exam hall for exams, university visits, seminars etc. Distributing envelopes between campuses Assisting the storekeeper in, unloading, arranging, distributing books. Replenishing papers in the copier machine. 7 to 8 printers are available at each campus. Arranging catering items in the pantries (2 pantries per campus). Replenish the same as and when needed. Loading and unloading works, when furniture, catering, flags, IT equipment etc. are relocated from one campus to another. Take responsibility for own health and safety and that of your colleagues Administrative works Provide assistant to the Office Administrator in the time working at the office, Photocopying, filing, handling mail, delivering goods and correspondences, carrying parcels, packages, and delivery and collection of official documents as per required. Assisting in arranging meetings, training and workshop set up and supporting the porters when deemed necessary.
