Keep up-to-date on all information relating to the hotel services, restaurants, activities and promotions and acquire a working knowledge of local places of interest, shopping areas and all other relevant information likely to be of interest to the guests, in order to confidently answer guests\' inquiries.
Ensure colleagues are aware of any events or promotions taking place in the Hotel and Abu Dhabi on a daily basis.
Manage Bellmen and Doormen Duty Rosters and monthly Time and Attendance.
Ensure all colleagues and yourself report for duty punctually wearing the appropriate uniform and respective name badge at all times; strictly adhering to the Grooming and Hygiene Standards illustrated in the Hotel\'s Look Book.
Manage to effectively assign tasks to the Bell Team, whilst maintaining a smooth-running operation.
Keep record and supervise the luggage assistance provided to Check-in and Check-Out guests, ensuring they are completed within the standardized time-frame of a Resort.
Ensuring timely delivery of messages, parcels and other items to guest rooms and hotel offices and maintain an accurate record on the Porte-Coch\xc3\xa8re\'s Master Log Sheet.
Review and cross-check the Bellmen Log Sheets with the Porte-Coch\xc3\xa8re\'s Master Log Sheet, ensuring consistency and accurate record-keeping.
Ensure all luggage are tagged appropriately for arrival and departure guests along with the Short- and Long-term Storage.
Control the operational working hours of the Bellmen and Doormen, limiting any need for overtime through an effective planning of manpower and task assignment.
Supervise Valet operations and make certain of full attendance of planned manpower.
Support in the training of colleagues & ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum levels of productivity and efficiency.
Provide key support in maintaining the LQE Standards within the Concierge Department.
Work closely with the Concierge and other Rooms Departments, creating a seamless service delivery; and provide movement updates of high-profile guests to higher management.
Ensure the luggage of departing guests have been safely placed in the Hotel Limousine prior to their departure when applicable.
Provide oversight on main driveway, ensuring no luggage is left unattended and that all guests are welcomed and bid farewell, following MOHG Standards & Pillars.
Be pro-active in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Driveway, Main Entrance and Storage Room.
Answer incoming calls at the Bell Counter and attend to guests\' requests and inquiries.
Conduct daily tracking of wheelchairs and strollers and inspect them after each usage.
Responsible for the proper use, maintenance and repair of the Bell Service Trolleys and initiate requests for the repair or replacement of faulty items when necessary.
Conduct weekly inventory check and raise the requisition of supplies when necessary.
Support in Raising, Lowering and / or Replacing the Flags around the Resort.
Handle additional tasks assigned to you by your Direct Managers or Hotel Management.
Attend F.O. Briefings, Trainings and Programmes required by Management and Learning & Development.
Strictly adhere to the Fire, Life, Health, Safety & Security Standards relating to the stored luggage and maintain an up-to-date Stored Luggage Logbook, updating the movement in and out of the Storage Room.
Strictly adhere to the Hotel\'s Code of Conduct and Rules & Regulations established in the Colleagues\' Handbook.
Promptly report all potential and real hazards to the appropriate members as per the Workplace Safety & Security.
Perform responsibilities in an efficient manner in accordance with the established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role in a five-star hotel
Diploma or vocational training in hospitality
Good personality and positive attitude, energetic, friendly, flexible, motivated, and able to work independently
