Ensure team full awarness on Group ethics & compliance and complete all mandatory traning Maintain and actively engage in Communication with all Ports / Terminals, Authorities and build rapport to benefit day to day Operations of the Group fleet/assets. Foresee Group fleet arrivals - Plan ahead to alert exceptions. IE: Closures/Berth Congestions/Operational Constraints and activate early warning system. Pre alert and periodically maintain communications with all Group fleet on Local Port regulations to avoid delays to commercial operations. Manage day-to-day matters with Principals, other port agents, Regional Office (DRO), Terminal Planning for priority based issues requiring intervention at managerial level while overseeing OPS team. Ensure Cluster Ops manager, DRO amd HO Line Ops Managers are well informed on berthing and Operations plans. Monitor and follow-up calls, berthing line-up, resources allocation and deployment Challenge and escalate when terminals are not performing to ensure that group interest are fully protected at all time. Monitor Port operations and Husbandry Agents on a pre-emptive / pro-active basis whilst Group vessels are in port / Intervene if any escalation required on any scenarios during operations. Follow-up on Partner / VSA vessels positions and keep the network updated Guide Operations Officers / Service Coordinators on any issues, queries encountered by them in their day-to-day activities and ensure work allocation appropriately managed amongst available resources with planned leave cover and unforeseen contingencies. Maintain data and perform analysis on terminal vessel ops performance. Address dertrimental ops factors with Terminals for remedial actions/avoidance. Address or Dispute costs not required to be absorbed. Address fleet issues with DRO/HO, find solutions to recurring issues to improve or maintain terminal performance. Follow-up / Monitor Agility savings initiatives, and actively propose new initiatives for OPEX optimization Tactical management of day-to-day fleet cargo and technical requirements, make tactical changes/recommendations in consultation with HO/DRO Teams in charge given the many exceptional situations may arise.Effectively deputize OPS manager in order him to concentrate on more critical and important issues on hand. Ensure Agency KPI are fully aligned, weekly, Monthly KPI review, Gap analysis. Close coordination with HO OPS unifications team, adopt new Group tools, procresses and ensure team is fully trained with coorperates tools. Ensure that Special Events are appropriately and timely reported to Management and closely follow up to ensure no or minimum impact on Group activities. Assist Senior Management & Principals with projects as and when required.QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE: Must have: Knowledge of the legal and / or regulatory frame Local Port/Terminal Procedures / Rules and Regulations is required to manage within Compliance. At least 5 years of Industry experience in similar capacity and should have knowledge of the end to end process of Hub/Operations Management. Stock / Allocation management : Equipment Control and Asset Management basic knowledge. Financial and economic knowledge : Familiar with Tariffs and Contracts Equipment flow management : Equipment Control and Asset Management basic knowledge.
