Additionally, the representative must promptly escalate any issues or unexpected situations to the
Head of Department
for immediate resolution. After completing the customs process, they submit the necessary documents to the terminal and office.
Work Flow:
1-
Receive Documents
Collect the
Bill of Entry (2 copies: Handling & Consignee)
from the driver.
Obtain the
Bill of Entry Report
, which lists all Bills of Entry related to the container.

Verify Container Details
: Match the
container number
with the
corresponding Bill of Entry
.
3-
Record Vehicle Information
: Write the
vehicle number
on the Bill of Entry.
4-
Direct the Driver to Scanning
: Instruct the driver to proceed to the
customs scanning area
for the container scan.
5-
Submit Documents to Customs
: After the scanning is completed, submit the
Bill of Entry
and related documents to the
Customs Scanning Office
.

Handle Customs Requests for Samples or Photos (If Required) :
If the
Customs Officer requests a sample or photos
, proceed as follows:
Open the container in the designated area.
Take
clear photos
of the required items.
Provide the photos or any requested samples to the
Customs Officer
for review.

Receive the Attested Bill of Entry from Customs
: Customs will return the
attested Bill of Entry
, mentioning the
seal number
.

Seal the Container
: Ensure the container is
properly sealed
with the seal number mentioned on the Bill of Entry.

Submit Documents :
Submit the
Handling Copy
of the Bill of Entry to the
terminal
