Job Summary

:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pool Technician to maintain and service residential and commercial pools. The ideal candidate will ensure pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly by performing routine maintenance, inspections, and necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities

:

Pool Maintenance

: Test and adjust water chemistry to ensure proper balance. Skim, vacuum, and clean pool surfaces and filters. Inspect and clean pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters.

Equipment Repairs

: Diagnose and repair pool equipment malfunctions. Replace damaged or worn-out parts as needed.

Customer Service

: Communicate effectively with customers regarding pool conditions, repairs, and recommendations. Provide exceptional service to build and maintain positive relationships.

Safety Compliance

: Ensure pool areas meet health and safety regulations. Report hazards or issues promptly to management or property owners.

Record Keeping

: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, water tests, and repairs performed.

Qualifications

:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in pool maintenance or a related field (preferred). Knowledge of water chemistry and pool equipment. Ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment for pool repairs. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Additional Skills

:

Certification as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent (preferred). Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge (a plus).
