Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules, including the work breakdown structure, to ensure timely project completion.
• Resource Management: Coordinate with project managers and teams to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying and addressing potential delays.
• Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports, including schedule updates and forecasts, to project stakeholders.
• Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, engineering, and construction teams, to ensure alignment on project timelines.
• Software Utilization: Utilize project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) for planning and scheduling activities.
• Compliance: Ensure all planning activities comply with company policies, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of planning experience in the construction industry within the UAE.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
