:Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Site Construction Engineer (Mechanical) with extensive experience in the oil and Gas industry for ADNOC Onshore site to be based in Abu Dhabi.Responsibilities:
To facilitate and formulate Construction Supervision, management, coordination, administration and strict enforcement of the Construction scope included as part of FEED/EPC Contract in line with Client\'s objective of progressing Work Order completion timely and to project schedule
Coordination of the FEED/EPC Contractor from construction through commissioning and handing over of FEED/EPC works
Review and provide input to the overall construction/installation plan, procedures and construction/installation requirements identified in the EPC Packages developed by FEED contractor to ensure efficient constructability
Ensure the construction/installation plan, procedures and requirement developed by EPC contractor comply with the EPC Scope of Work intent and requirements.
Coordinate and assist fabrication works at EPC contractor\'s or EPC contractor\'s subcontractor\'s fabrication facilities
Supervise, monitor and inspect the work EPC contractor and EPC contractor\'s subcontractors at the construction location (or place of manufacture where applicable) in accordance with ADNOC Onshore policy for supervision, quality assurance, control and inspection for the project.
Maintain EPC contractor\'s adherence to safety, quality and schedule requirements for construction.
Participate in identifying Construction slippage and recommend corrective action(s) to be performed by EPC contractor
Provide construction input to estimates as and when required
Review design documents and provide constructability input to designs
Undertake visits to facilities/sites to support the development of construction activities, review designs and liaise with EPC Contractor or EPC Contractor\'s Subcontractors
Identify any Specialist Vendor Support, Tools and Equipment required to implement scope
Interface with ADNOC Onshore\'s Operations groups as & when necessary
Taking part in site surveys and generation of reports where required
Formulate Construction deliverables in line with Project procedures for content, and accuracy
Assist with construction input to Bid preparation
Development of Construction requirements for Bid estimates
Thorough working knowledge and experience of construction completion procedures & Pre-commissioning activities
Involved in Effective Change Management
Liaise closely with ADNOC Onshore PMT team on all aspects of design and technical data
Coordinate & carry out required timely Constructability reviews, in line with Model progression
Ensure the required Constructability Readiness reviews are addressed to suit the planned deliverables timing
Liaise strongly with Procurement teamfor materials & equipment deliverables for alignment to the overall project schedules
Coordinate with Project controls on the progress of work order issuance, and proposed completion dates
Participate in HSE improvement activities, promoting HSE elements throughout construction development where ever possible
Full working knowledge of construction activities in relation to the relevant discipline
Ability to review engineering design drawings and challenge work content for any improvement / cost effective methodology that can be adopted without compromise to safety. Also to be able to challenge engineering detail for possible areas of where hot work can be reduced/minimised.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering in related discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, being in a similar Engineer role for at least 5 years
PMC experience on EPC Onshore wellhead field development projects is highly preferable
