:Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Commissioning Coordinator with extensive experience in the oil and Gas industry for ADNOC Onshore client to be based in Abu Dhabi.Responsibilities:Job purpose & Scope:A key member of the Project\'s management team. The role directly manages and is accountable for the planning and execution pre-commissioning and commissioning works to ensure that the project objectives are achieved. Directly manages Commissioning Leaders for on island construction and onshore precast and module fabricationPrincipal Accountabilities:
  • Lead the team to support the objectives and strategies
  • Champion safety in all construction aspects and promote the safety objective that \xe2\x80\x9cNobody gets Hurt\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Manage the Module Fabrication responsible for the planning, development and operations to ensure commissioning execution certainty
  • Manage the Contractor\'s commissioning planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with Project objectives, strategies, obligations and requirements
  • Establish a commissioning organization to implement the Project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of commissioning team positions
  • Provide execution strategy support to the Project Team
  • Ensure that the Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations, policies and procedures
  • Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for commissioning, including SIMOPS and brownfield work
  • Assist in the review and implementation of all Contractor safety plans
  • Steward interfaces and interactions between the Contractor and other Project entities, Production Operations, and Drilling
  • Manage the interface with ADNOC Onshore to execute brownfield works in order to minimize disruption in ongoing production operations
  • Ensure that the detailed design deliverables support constructability
  • Report commissioning progress, performance, initiatives and issues to the Project Team
  • Lead commissioning planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities
  • Sponsor commissioning related readiness reviews, workshops and CERs
  • Take a leadership role in mentoring and training UAE Nationals
  • Clearly communicate to direct reports short term and long-term goals that support the project objectives
  • Encourage and recognize outstanding performance, and ensure that staff are appraised regularly and developed accordingly
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Professional Engineer accreditation preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of previous Commissioning management experience on large oil and gas development projects
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures
