Take advantage of new opportunities and take on exciting tasks and attractive positions with direct customer assignment.Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and experienced PMC Risk Expert to oversee and manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies for a major Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The Risk Expert will play a crucial role in identifying potential risks, analyzing their impact, and developing proactive solutions to ensure project success. This role demands expertise in risk management methodologies and experience in high-stakes construction projects.Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the project.
Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks, including technical, financial, and operational risks.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to determine the likelihood and impact of risks.
Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Maintain and update the project risk register, ensuring all risks are monitored and managed effectively.
Provide regular risk reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
Support decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights on risk scenarios and mitigation options.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices in risk management.
Facilitate risk management workshops and training sessions for project personnel.
Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure risks are addressed throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Review and evaluate contractor and subcontractor risk management plans to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certifications: Risk management certifications such as PMI-RMP, ISO 31000, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience:
10-15 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects.
Previous experience in a PMC environment is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of risk management principles, tools, and techniques.
Proficiency in risk management software and reporting tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
