Position SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PMC Office Administrator to support the administrative operations of a high-profile Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra, Iraq. The Office Administrator will ensure smooth office functioning, coordinate logistics, and provide administrative support to project teams and stakeholders. This role is essential for maintaining efficiency and supporting day-to-day project activities.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, maintaining supplies, and coordinating office logistics.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, document management, and correspondence.
  • Support project teams by organizing travel arrangements, accommodations, and meeting schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute project-related documentation, such as reports, presentations, and memos.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding office-related matters.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating project events, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all administrative processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage timesheets, expense tracking, and employee records.
  • Address and resolve office maintenance and facility-related issues to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Monitor and support compliance with local regulations and project-specific requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience in office administration, preferably within the Oil & Gas or construction industry.
  • Experience working in Iraq or similar regions is an advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
