:Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Interface Engineer to support our ADNOC onshore project in Abu Dhabi.Responsibilities:Interface Engineer ensures good preparation and coordination of activities between technical and project interfaces including all project external stake holders ,sub-Contractors and third parties at the Interface Points within the battery limits of the project during the FEED stage. Ensure all interfaces are co-ordinated to perform sufficient preparations and assess all realistic problems and encourage the development solutions for interface activities such as tie-ins, pipeline routing, plot reservation, exchange of technical information etc to support smooth execution in EPC Phase .
Anticipation and understanding of site interface demarcations on documents such as P&IDs, Plot Plans and GAs
Work with all technical and project interfaces to ensure interface responsibilities are understood and potential problems identified
Review of FEED documentation to assess consistency in the demarcation of interfaces
Prepare and conduct interface reviews with technical and project interfaces in critical areas
Be part of the day-to-day interfacing between the projects, project managers and engineering teams
Prepare Interface Requests and Agreements
Update and Maintain Interface Registers
Drive and co-ordinate Project Interface Meetings as required
Participate in key customer reviews and meetings as required
Participate in Project reviews
Qualifications:
BSc Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years\' experience in the oil and gas industry whilst ADNOC PMC experience is desired
Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
Personality and drive to support the Project Manager to manage the team to achieve the overall Project objectives, with high professional competence and management skills
Exposure to wide variety of project environments
Exposure to wide variety of design, engineering, project services, procurement and construction elements
