:Wood is currently looking to recruit an Engineer (Construction Marine) to work on ADNOC project based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Successful candidate will perform below responsibilities and duties.Responsibilities:
Designing and managing the construction of jetties, docks, and berths for the transportation of equipment and materials.
Overseeing the construction of pipelines, both onshore and nearshore, for the transportation of oil and gas.
Designing and managing the construction of storage tanks, pump stations, and other infrastructure necessary for oil and gas operations.
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards to protect the surrounding environment and communities.
Collaborating with geotechnical engineers and environmental specialists to assess site conditions and minimize environmental impact.
Managing budgets, schedules, and contractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.
Liaising with regulatory authorities and obtaining necessary permits for construction activities
Familiar with ADNOC standards and previous exposure as a Marine Engineer (Construction)
Overseeing contractors and ensuring they are conducting the work complying with client requirements
should have sufficient experience in planning, design and execution of infrastructure projects that are essential for the extractions, transportations, loading, offloading of equipment and materials as well as pipelines, ensuring they are well aware about the safety and compliance with ADNOC / relevant standards within Marine Engineering field.
Qualifications:
Degree qualification in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry
Minimum of 3 years\' experience in similar role with PMC
ADNOC experience
