Take advantage of new opportunities and take on exciting tasks and attractive positions with direct customer assignment.Position SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Assistant (DCC Assistant) to support the document control activities for a major Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The DCC Assistant will work closely with the Document Control team to ensure proper management, tracking, and distribution of project documentation in compliance with project requirements and standards.Key Responsibilities
Assist in the receipt, tracking, and distribution of project documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all documents are filed, categorized, and maintained accurately in the Document Control Management System (DCMS).
Support the implementation of document control procedures and ensure adherence to established standards.
Assist in managing version control and ensuring the latest revisions of documents are distributed.
Maintain logs of incoming and outgoing documents and prepare status reports for document submissions.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate timely submission and retrieval of documents.
Ensure proper archiving and secure storage of all project documentation.
Address queries and provide assistance to project staff regarding document control processes.
Support the Lead Document Control Coordinator in preparing for audits and reviews.
Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in document control, preferably within Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects.
Familiarity with document control systems (e.g., Aconex, EDMS) is preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams.
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
