Position SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PMC Cost Controller to support the cost management activities for a major Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The Cost Controller will monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires expertise in cost control systems, financial analysis, and experience in large-scale construction projects.Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project costs, ensuring they remain within approved budgets and financial guidelines.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis for project stakeholders.
• Track and analyze project expenditures, commitments, and actual costs against the budget.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project budgets, including detailed work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Collaborate with project management, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cost alignment across all project phases.
• Evaluate the financial impact of changes, claims, and variations, providing cost data for decision-making.
• Support the preparation of periodic cost reviews and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure contractor and subcontractor cost reporting complies with project requirements and guidelines.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving measures to enhance project efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of cost-related documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:

• 5-10 years of cost control experience, with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects.
• Experience in a PMC environment is an advantage.
• Skills:

• Proficiency in cost control tools and software (e.g., SAP, Primavera P6, MS Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
