Plumber Job Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structures.
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Completes light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required.
• Prepare client bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
• Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices.

Plumbing System Maintenance:

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to identify and address issues promptly.
• Repair or replace faulty plumbing components, such as pipes, faucets, toilets, and water heaters.
• Inspect and maintain sewage and drainage systems to prevent blockages and ensure proper flow.

Emergency Repairs:

• Respond to emergency plumbing issues, such as leaks, burst pipes, and clogged drains, to minimize property damage.
• Implement immediate solutions to resolve urgent plumbing problems and prevent further damage.

Compliance and Documentation :

• Ensure that all plumbing work complies with local building codes and regulations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including work performed, materials used, and costs incurred.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an inventory of plumbing supplies and materials to facilitate repairs and replacements.
• Requisition necessary supplies and equipment in a timely manner.

Tenant/Resident Communication:

• Interact with tenants, residents, and property managers to address plumbing-related concerns or requests for repairs.
• Provide guidance on plumbing maintenance to tenants to prevent common issues.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to complete repairs and renovations that may affect plumbing systems.
• Work with property managers and maintenance teams to schedule maintenance tasks efficiently.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to ensure the safety of oneself and others.
• Keep updated on plumbing codes, industry trends, and best practices.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,200.00 per month
