Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and DHA-licensed Plastic Surgeon to join our esteemed medical facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care in compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations. The surgeon will be responsible for performing surgical and non-surgical cosmetic treatments while adhering to ethical medical practices and patient safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

Conduct thorough patient consultations, including pre-operative evaluations and risk assessments, as per DHA guidelines. Develop personalized treatment plans, explaining procedures, expected outcomes, and potential risks to patients. Perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures such as rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, liposuction, facelifts, and hand surgery, following DHA-approved techniques. Carry out non-surgical cosmetic treatments like Botox, fillers, and laser therapies in compliance with DHA regulations. Ensure strict adherence to infection control, sterilization, and patient safety measures in line with DHA requirements. Monitor post-operative recovery, manage complications, and provide follow-up care to ensure patient satisfaction and safety. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with DHA data protection policies.

Regulatory & Ethical Compliance:

Obtain informed consent from patients in alignment with DHA ethical and legal standards. Ensure that all surgical procedures are performed in a DHA-licensed medical facility with approved equipment. Participate in DHA-mandated Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs to maintain licensing and stay updated on medical advancements. Adhere to DHA regulations regarding medical advertising and ensure ethical representation of surgical procedures.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

Work closely with anesthesiologists, dermatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay up to date with emerging plastic surgery techniques and innovations to enhance patient outcomes. Participate in hospital or clinic accreditation processes as required by DHA.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Specialized training and board certification in Plastic Surgery.

Valid DHA license

or eligibility for DHA registration as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon. Minimum

5 years of experience

in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Proficiency in the latest plastic surgery techniques, including minimally invasive procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient consultations. Commitment to patient safety, ethical medical practices, and adherence to DHA regulations.

Work Environment:

Position based in a

DHA-licensed

hospital or private clinic in Dubai. Requires flexibility in working hours, including emergency procedures when necessary. Continuous learning and participation in DHA-approved professional development activities
