Job Overview:

The Plant Manager for the Unitized Curtain Wall Assembly Plant will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end assembly operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and meeting project deadlines. This leadership role will involve managing daily plant operations, coordinating assembly processes, driving process improvements, and ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently met. The Plant Manager will work closely with project teams to ensure client specifications are integrated into the assembly processes and will lead initiatives to optimize resources and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the unitized curtain wall assembly process, ensuring that all assembly operations are completed according to project deadlines and quality requirements.
• Team Leadership & Personnel Management: Lead, develop, and manage assembly teams to maximize productivity and efficiency. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing workforce.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, ensuring regular audits, training sessions, and compliance with workplace safety regulations. Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Collaboration with Project Teams: Work closely with project managers and design teams to incorporate project-specific requirements into the assembly processes. Ensure that assembly work aligns with project specifications and client expectations.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality output.
• Resource Optimization: Optimize the use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure cost-effective and timely assembly production.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing or assembly, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably in the construction or curtain wall industry.
• Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of curtain wall systems, structural assembly processes, and related technologies.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and delivering operational excellence.
• Additional Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Production Output: Minimum 95% completion of scheduled assemblies.
• Quality Compliance: Defect rate below 1% in completed units.
• Safety Management: Zero reportable safety incidents per year.
• Operational Efficiency: 5% annual reduction in assembly costs per unit.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED12.50 per month
