Top Level position in the plant. Responsible to manage the manufacturing engineering, logistics, SHE, and production operations. Oversees the plans, designs, and maintenance of the manufacturing facility. Manages the operations of all production departments in the plant directly and/or through first-level managers and/or supervisors. Ensures production meets the goals of product quality, cost effectiveness, safe conditions, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities of the Job: Implement the Service Parameters for the plant. Monitors and improves OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) Drives spend reductions and service efficiency projects. Inventory Age/Mix/count integrity for Raw Materials Operational and people safety. Drive continuous improvements in service standards (SIFOT- Shipment In Full On Time and DIFOT - Delivery In Full On Time). . Alignment of key corporate and regional manufacturing policies and processes. Adopting, improving and implementing TPM (Total Production Maintenance) program in the plant. Contribute to key strategic initiatives related to localizations and production capabilities. Continuously driving sustainability initiatives Ensures compliance to all governmental authority regulations related to permits, licenses, ...etc.
Competencies for the job: Bachelor degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering Knowledge of local/ language and English. Service Minded and methodical approach. People handling skills - Unionized and unorganized labor. 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing preferably the chemical industry.
