Job Description

Responsible to oversee the production of the manufacturing unit and required to improve plant

operations keeping in mind safety, quality, cost, reliability & capacity

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Responsible for day to day production activities to meet requirement set by management.

Authorize daily production data

Authorize daily consumption data

Co-ordination with Sales & Dispatch for daily production requirement

Ensures 100% utilization of the plant

Maintains the plant & equipments effectively to minimize the downtime of (MASA & Kerbstone

Plant Machine such as Batching Plant, MASA 9001 & MASA 9.2 XL).

QUALITY

Maintains quality of products to meet requirements of Dubai Municipality and ISO Standards

Inspects internal test reports

Controls rejection percentage and ensure it doesn't exceed 2.5%

Ensures quality of raw materials on regular intervals

HEALTH & SAFETY

Responsible to ensure safe & secure working environment

Monitors employee for adherence to safety rules and regulations set by statutory authorities and

management

Ensures availability of enough uniforms & PPEs to all plant employees

MAINTENANCE

Oversees regular maintenance of the plant and equipments & supervise maintenance department

Schedules and implement preventive and schedule maintenance

Allocate jobs to maintenance department personnel according to priority

Responsible for attending emergency break down and maintenance round the clock

Maintains & upkeep of maintenance records

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

Efficiently oversee the Supervisors, Operators, Forklift Drivers & Labours

Allocate duties according to day to day requirement

Handles employee's disputes/issues and seek amicable solution at preliminary stage.

Train, guide and lead the production team

OTHER TASKS

Authorize DO & Invoices received from outside machine shops after inspection

Raises spare parts requirement for the plant and general maintenance

Maintains records related to ISO

Co-ordinate & Communicate between various departments for smooth functioning of the plan

Monitors and control canteen activities

Conducts production trial to improve quality and reduce cost

Reports and recommend for disciplinary actions on plant employees not following the company rules and guidelines

Update management on any issues that is not in line with company policy& good practice. Operate the plant machine if needed.

Perform other duties as required and as directed by the Line Manager/Plant Manager.

Pay: Up to AED6,000.00 per month
