Job Title: Planning Manager

Location: Dubai

Experience: 12+ years in Building Projects, Office and Special Projects, previous PMC or Consultant experience required.

Languages: English and Arabic (Must)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Planning Manager to join our team for an exciting project in Dubai - the DEWA HQ.

Position Overview:

As a Planning Manager at Atkins Site Operations, you will play a pivotal role in the successful planning and execution of the DEWA HQ project. This is a prestigious undertaking, and we are seeking an individual with at least 12 years of experience in Building Projects, Office, and Special Projects, particularly within the UAE construction industry. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the project is completed to the highest standards and within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the project's master schedule, ensuring it is accurate and up to date.

Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish clear project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Implement effective planning and scheduling techniques to optimize project efficiency.

Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and proactively propose solutions.

Conduct regular project progress and performance evaluations.

Generate reports and provide insights to project management and stakeholders.

Facilitate communication and coordination among various project teams.

Ensure compliance with project schedules and budget constraints.

Support risk management efforts by identifying and addressing potential scheduling risks.

Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into project planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in Building Projects, Office and Special Projects, with a focus on construction planning and scheduling.

Previous experience in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) or Consultant role is required.

Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and industry standards.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
