The team is dedicated to innovation, excellence, and sustainability in every project they undertake. : We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the glass, fa\xc3\xa7ade, and glazing industry, with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. This role involves meticulous project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment of project objectives.
- Monitor and update project schedules to reflect progress and changes.
- Resource Allocation:
- Determine resource requirements and allocate resources efficiently to meet project timelines.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Progress Monitoring:
- Track project progress against the baseline schedule and prepare progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and address any issues.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with company standards and industry best practices.
- Participate in project reviews and audits to ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the glass, fa\xc3\xa7ade, or glazing industry.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
