Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planning Manager to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, scheduling, and monitoring of all construction activities for a high-rise building project. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methodologies, critical path analysis, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule using Primavera P6 or similar software. Perform critical path analysis to identify potential delays and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress against the schedule and report any deviations to the Project Manager. Prepare and maintain project progress reports, including updated schedules, cost reports, and risk assessments. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any potential issues. Liaise with subcontractors to ensure their work is aligned with the overall project schedule. Assist in the procurement process by providing input on subcontractor schedules and timelines. Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation plans. Implement and monitor change orders and their impact on the project schedule. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards. Assist in the preparation of method statements and work procedures. Contribute to the development of the project execution plan. Provide support to the Project Manager in all planning and scheduling related matters.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Minimum [Number] years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, with a focus on high-rise building projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software. Strong understanding of construction methodologies and techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive and results-oriented approach. Experience working in Dubai (preferred).
