The Role

PLANNING MANAGER Salary 40-45,000 AED Per Month Plus Flights, Medical & Bonus 28 Storey High Rise Shell & Core Project based 10 Minutes drive from Business Bay in DUBAI. Working alongside an experience Expat Project Director on site you will lead the planning team. UAE business 60+ Years delivering Hotels, High Rise, Commercial, Residential & Mixed Use. Sweet spot is 300 Million AED to 1.65 Billion on Full Design & Build Projects. Experiencing an exceptionally busy time on new project awards and its essential they hire the right Planning Manager to strengthen the team. Are you based in the MENA region with a strong pedigree for working on Build Projects as a Planning Manager / Senior Planner ? Won't be the first time in the UAE we have heard when the market is busy this contractor is busy ! They have the right client links and influence to have doors opened for major projects across a range of sectors in the UAE. Sitting on site you will be the Lead Planning Manager (No1) working alongside the Project Director with a dotted line back into the Corporate Head of Planning. You will be experienced enough to add value at pre-construction and execution stages on site. Managing the program , implementing change management and working will all parties to ensure that issues are raised early and handled in the right manner. Responsibilities o Monitoring project program & schedule for short term and long o Track the project's performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) o Review and discuss reports with the Project Team o Review and endorse proposed corrective actions to maintain the project within planned cost and schedule o Monitor and manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunities



Requirements

Communication o Personable enough to knock on a door of a client and find middle ground over a cup of coffee.. o Presentation skills to stakeholders & management o Soft skills and empathy to manage up and downstream Criteria o Project Controls & Planning Management experience on site for the past 10+ Years with a Reputable Main Contractor o Strong analytical skills and a calmness o Degree in Civil Engineering o Primavera P6 Software experience and Project Management Tools
