Title:Planning Manager

LOCATION Abu Dhabi, UAE

THE ROLE Reporting to the Project Controls Director / Sr. Planning Manager and responsible for the overall planning, scheduling, claims and coordination of the projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

·Lead and manage a team of planners ·Developing and maintaining project planning and reporting standards and procedures ·Preparation and maintenance of the project work break down structure and integrated project master schedule Co-ordination with Consultants and Contractors Analysing and reporting on Consultants and Contractors schedules and progress reports Perform critical path analysis of schedules Review/defend claim entitlement Prepare independent risk analyses of Consultant and Contractor schedules Preparation of monthly and weekly reports Preparing and making presentations

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

BSc in related subject or equivalent experience 10 + years post graduate experience Minimum of 3 years in a management role ·Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities Experienced user of Primavera P6, Pertmaster and MS Office Excellent knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques Ability to effectively monitor and analyse progress, identify trends and recommend corrective actions Excellent report writing skills Previous experience in the Middle East is advantageous Fluency in English both written and spoken
