Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Yard Strategy and Terminal Operating System (TOS) Specialist to join our Global Flow Team and support the optimization of terminal yard operations in line with FLOW requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in terminal operations, yard strategy development, and TOS (Navis N4), with a keen focus on improving efficiency, safety, and operational excellence.

Location: If selected for this position, you will work from your home country office, with no need for immigration or relocation Key Responsibilities: Yard Strategy: Assess current terminal yard strategies against FLOW requirements to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with terminals to design and implement an optimized yard strategy that aligns with FLOW objectives, prioritizing efficiency, effectiveness, and safety. Define or update Yard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of yard strategies, ensuring alignment with FLOW requirements. Oversee and evaluate the terminal's transition to the updated yard strategy by monitoring KPIs and conducting regular progress meetings. Ensure that yard strategy processes are standardized, documented, and consistently applied across terminals. Support terminals with change management efforts during yard strategy standardization and/or transition phases. Provide regular updates to the FLOW Manager on the progress of yard strategy initiatives. TOS (Terminal Operating System): Communicate with terminal teams to understand business requirements and operational needs. Assist in upgrading the TOS based on new Cycle Time concepts and FLOW-related requirements. Provide functional input into the development and implementation of TOS upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve both operational and technical issues related to the TOS in collaboration with terminal teams. Report any critical issues affecting FLOW implementation to the IT Lead. Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on new processes. Participate in workshops and training sessions to ensure that all stakeholders understand process changes. Identify and propose improvements for the TOS or its infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency. Share knowledge and best practices across the TOS community to drive continuous improvement. Skills & Competencies: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in terminal operations, with a focus on Planning and TOS. Extensive knowledge of Navis N4 and its optimization and automation modules. Strong ability to self-learn and navigate TOS documentation efficiently. Proven experience as a Yard Strategist is essential. Lean Practitioner (minimum level 3). Strong leadership skills with a customer-centric approach. Expertise in workshop facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management Expertise in change/transition management. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. JI/JR trained (Job Instruction/Job Relations). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change. Why Join Us?
