Job Description

Data Centre - Planning Engineer

Must have between 3-5 years experience on live data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and monitor detailed project schedules for

data centre projects

at various stages of the project life cycle, from pre-construction to commissioning. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Utilize advanced planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to create, track, and update project schedules. Identify potential project delays, risks, and bottlenecks, and propose mitigation plans. Monitor project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest improvements where necessary. Manage the project's critical path and adjust schedules to reflect any changes in scope or unforeseen issues. Contribute to risk management processes by identifying potential schedule impacts and proposing corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mech, Elec preferred Civil acceptable), Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in planning and scheduling, preferably within the

data centre

, construction, or engineering sectors. Proven experience managing planning processes for large-scale

data centre

projects. Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools. Strong understanding of project life cycle, cost management, risk analysis, and quality control. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both local and international teams. Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus).
