Position Overview: As a Proposal Engineer at Gulf Water Treatment Co. Ltd., you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, playing a crucial role in crafting compelling proposals and bids for prospective projects. Your responsibilities will include thorough analysis of project requirements, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the presentation of detailed and competitive proposals to secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using project management software.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify critical path activities and potential bottlenecks.
2. Resource Management:
• Determine resource requirements and allocate resources appropriately.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Monitor and adjust resource allocation as necessary to meet project deadlines.
3. Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track project progress against the baseline schedule and provide regular updates to management.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including forecasts and variance analysis.
• Identify and address any issues or delays that may impact project timelines.
4. Risk Management:
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential project risks.
• Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement contingency plans as necessary to address unforeseen challenges.
5. Stakeholder Coordination:
• Liaise with project team members, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and coordinate activities between different departments and teams.
• Ensure that all project stakeholders are kept informed of project status and any changes.
6. Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and submit required documentation to regulatory authorities and clients as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
