Black & Grey HR is actively recruiting for a prominent landscaping company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client seeks a Planning Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing all planning, scheduling, and cost control documents for various project works, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage comprehensive planning and scheduling documents for potential and ongoing projects, from pre-award to post-award stages.

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and overall project completion.

- Conduct thorough reviews of client and subcontractor planning documents, providing valuable inputs and recommendations.

- Create and maintain manpower histograms and deployment schedules for company developments.

- Monitor and update project schedules regularly, reporting any potential delays or resource constraints to the Project Manager.

- Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with the company's Quality and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) systems.

- Establish and monitor cost baselines, track expenditures, and forecast financial status throughout the project lifecycle.

- Develop and update cash flow forecasts on a monthly or quarterly basis, reflecting project expenditures and revenues.

- Continuously compare actual costs with planned costs, taking corrective actions for any variances and preparing monthly cost reports.

- Interact directly with project teams on a daily basis to address planning, scheduling, and cost control needs.

- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders through project managers to ensure alignment and effective communication.

- Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and regulations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in engineering.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field.

- Demonstrated proficiency in developing presentations, spreadsheets, and supporting documents.

- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.

- Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring of projects.

- Strong understanding of cost control principles and financial forecasting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in project planning and cost control.
