Job Description

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead the planning and scheduling efforts on major projects, ensuring that all activities are planned, coordinated, and executed according to the project timelines. The role involves working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and teams to track progress, identify risks, and optimize resources for efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met. Use project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to create and update schedules. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to establish realistic timelines and deliverables. Work with the project team to allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials. Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting any delays, issues, and recommended solutions Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates. Track and report on project expenditures and ensure adherence to the approved budget. Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the project is progressing according to plan. Organize and participate in project meetings to communicate schedule updates and resolve issues. Maintain accurate records of all planning documentation, including schedules, reports, and correspondence. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices

Key Skills and Qualifications

Educational Requirements

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Experience

: At least 7- 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, ideally in a senior role Candidates ready to relocate or commute daily to Umm Al Quwain are welcome to apply

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
