Planning Engineer
Job Description
• Preparing baseline program, schedules, milestones, deliverables and timelines as per project management plan.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Coordinate with all project parties to collate project status reports.
• Develop detailed project plans outlining the scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and scheduling.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic planning insights.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
Experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry within UAE
• Experience with project costing, contract administration, and construction claims an added advantage.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other project management tools.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of basic construction techniques and principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
