Job Description

As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing project plans, schedules, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with various teams to gather necessary data and information, analyze project progress, and make recommendations for adjustments to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Scheduling:
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Create detailed schedules with timelines and milestones using project management software.
• Ensure all stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
• Resource Allocation and Coordination:
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary data for planning purposes.
• Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
• Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed.
• Progress Tracking and Reporting:
• Monitor project progress against the established schedule and budget.
• Prepare regular status reports and updates for project stakeholders.
• Analyze data and provide insights to optimize project performance.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Foster collaboration and communication among project teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings to review project progress, discuss issues, and make decisions.
• Provide timely responses to queries and concerns related to project planning and scheduling.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Evaluate project planning processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
